Spice Up Your Africa Experience
It is a dream for many people to be able to go into the African wilderness and see all the animals they have seen in TV documentaries, but this time for real, with their own eyes.
Nowadays this is easier than ever, especially thanks to the tour agencies that help organize such trips.
One particular safari tour operator I wanted to cover in this post is African Spice Safaris, or simply “Spice”, as they sometimes refer to themselves. An interesting thing about African Spice is that they focus entirely on Africa, but they cover pretty much everything this great continent has to offer as far as safaris and wilderness trips go.
Here’s just a few of the things you can do with their help:
Go on a “classical” safari – drive through the grand national parks, watching lions, elephants, rhinos and other famous big game.
Try birding – birds of Africa are somewhat overshadowed by the all the big game, but this doesn’t mean they’re not fascinating. There are myriads of bird species unique to Africa. Go for a ornithological safari in Kenya or Uganda and prepare to be amazed.
Climb Mt Kilimanjaro – want an even more active adventure? If you’re in decent shape, try climbing the highest mountain on the continent. You don’t need to be an alpinist to do that, but prepare for a lot of uphill (obviously).
Wander into wild gorilla territory and watch them going about their daily lives from just a few meters away. Without glass walls or cages. This is sure to be an experience of a lifetime, and Spice can organize this for you.
So as you can see there is a lot, like really a LOT of stuff you can do in Africa through African Spice Safaris alone – enough activity to fill up not one, but ten vacations, without needing to juggle multiple tour operators etc. And you don’t have to take my word for it – have a look at various forums and discussion groups – the feedback they get is really quite impressive.
